Pending teams entered in the Junior Mixed Competition - this division only, may start
Friday 22nd April in the afternoon. This will be advised in advance once we receive team entries.

COMPETITION STRUCTURE

Junior Mixed – 6 players – 3 male & 3 female
Please note it is 6 players not 8 as in the past

Open Under 12 Juniors - 7 players ( any gender )

Each state should provide a coach and manager for each team.

To assist us with hosting this event we would also request that each Junior Mixed team supplies a suitably qualified umpire.

If a state does not have the numbers for a full team, players will be sourced at the discretion of the organizing committee.

Teams will be required to be entered no later than 1st April , 2011.

An indication of attendance from NT / WA / TAS & NZ by 15th March, 2011, would be
appreciated to allow us time to source horses.

HORSES

Horses can be sourced for Western Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory and New
Zealand as required. These players will be required to bring their own equipment to fit out these horses ie : saddle , saddlecloth, bridle (these may be provided with horse ) reins, noseband , headcheck, bandages, bellboots etc.

COST

Junior Mixed :

The cost per player supplying their own horse – ie VIC / NSW / QLD / SA will be $100 per Player.

The cost per player from the states requiring horses will be $200.

This has been instigated due to the high cost of hosting this event – loan horses / feed /
veterinary / farrier / insurance etc.

The fee will be invoiced to each respective State and is to be paid to AHPC by the STATE.

Under 12 Division :

The fee per player will be $15.00 ( as in previous years )

ACCOMMODATION

We would ask that each team co-ordinates their own accommodation.

The Lake Hume Resort has been an excellent venue in the past and offers very competitive rates – bookings should be made early to avoid disappointment. They can be contacted on 0260 264 444 or by email : reservations@lakehumeresort.com.au .

Albury – Wodonga Equestrian Centre – Onsite bookings for powered sites – undercover
yards and stables should be made online at : www.awec.net.au follow the link to
‘Nominate’( online booking link ).

Fees apply for these facilities. A limited number of outside yards are available at no charge for the duration of the event.

As the venue is a multi-user centre , our club commences hire of the Venue from Monday 18th April,2011. Any intended arrivals prior to this date should advise the Albury Wodonga Equestrian Centre of their plans – 0260 432 777 (BH) Fees may apply.

FORMALITIES

Presentation of the Players will be held on Friday 22nd April at The PJN Shed ( On Site )
At 7pm – Players should be dressed in their appropriate state attire.

Trophy presentations will be held at the conclusion of play on Sunday 24th April. We ask that all players be suitably attired in playing uniform – whether they are receiving trophies or not.

JUNIOR & UNDER 12 JUNIOR COACHING

Coaching will be held on Tuesday 19th , Wednesday 20th & Thursday 21st April, 2011.

Registration will be at PJN Shed at 8am on Tuesday and coaching will start at 9am each
Day.

The cost will be : Juniors - $100.00
Under 12 Juniors - $60.00

This fee includes Lunch , morning and afternoon tea.

Names are to be entered by email to : Sara Grills – sjhg@bigpond.com no later than
April 9th 2011. We require – NAME / AGE / Club that child plays for / contact
number

First Aid will be in attendance during coaching .

Any parents who can assist with meal times would be greatly appreciated.
